To every Master Mason who has wondered what comes next in his Masonic journey, this may be your moment.

The caravan is forming once again, and AZAN Shrine invites you to make the pilgrimage across the Hot Sands and enter a fraternity built around three powerful ideals: Fun, Fellowship, and Philanthropy.

For generations, the ceremonial journey into the Shrine has carried with it a spirit all its own:
“We have several poor sons of the desert, being weary of the hot sands and burning sun of the plains, humbly craving that sacred boon of the weary traveler shelter under the protecting dome of our goodly Temple.”

That tradition continues this fall as AZAN Shrine welcomes a new class of Master Masons into our fraternity.

But becoming a Shriner is about much more than wearing the Fez.
It is about discovering new friendships, strengthening the bonds of Brotherhood, enjoying experiences with your family, supporting your community, and joining a mission that has changed the lives of children and families for generations.

If you are a Master Mason who has ever said, “Someday I’d like to become a Shriner,” this is your opportunity to make that someday November 20–21.

Friday, November 20
The weekend begins with dinner at 6:00 PM, followed by a brief program and the First Section of the Initiation Ceremony. This portion of the evening will be open to family, friends, Nobles, and Ladies, allowing everyone to share in the excitement of welcoming our newest candidates.


Saturday, November 21
Saturday morning, the candidates will continue their ceremonial journey with the remaining portion of the initiation experience.
While the candidates are undertaking their journey, the First Lady of AZAN will host a special Ladies Luncheon and program at Dixie Crossroads.
Then at 3:30 PM, everyone comes together again as the North Brevard Shrine Club hosts a family picnic below the oak grove at the NBSC property, followed by one of the most meaningful moments of the weekend: the Fez Ceremony welcoming our newest Nobles.
To our current Nobles and Ladies: come out and support these new members. Remember the excitement of your own Ceremonial and the Brothers who stood close to you as you began your Shrine journey. Your presence helps show every new Noble that he has joined something bigger than himself.
And to the Master Mason reading this who has not yet become a Shriner:
The road is open. The caravan is forming. A place is waiting for you.
