Past Potentates
From humble beginnings in 1956, when the Melbourne Shriners Club was created under Bahia Shrine, a foundation was laid by men who believed in fellowship, service, and a greater purpose. That foundation grew stronger through the years, and in 1982, AZAN Shrine was chartered, carrying forward a legacy built on dedication, compassion, and brotherhood.
Today, we pause to honor and celebrate all of our Past Melbourne Shrine Club Presidents and AZAN Potentates who have served throughout our history. Each of you helped shape the path we walk today. Your leadership, vision, sacrifice, and love for the fraternity have paved the way for generations of Nobles to continue the mission.
Because of those who came before us, AZAN stands not only as a Shrine Center but as a living legacy of service, fun, fellowship, and care for children and families. We are grateful for the history you built, the traditions you protected, and the future you made possible.
Thank you for leading the way, lighting the path, and reminding us that our greatest history is not only what we remember, but what we continue to build together.
